일반적으로 광합성을 하는 algae는 blue-green algae(cyanobacteria)입니다. 영문그대로 용어를 옮겨적으면 'A group of organisms formerly termed blue-green algae,
characterized by the presence of chlorophyll and the liberation of free oxygen during photosynthesis. Cyanobacteria include both unicellular and multicellular forms. It is the groupmost responsible for the formation of stromatolites.'으로 정의되어 있습니다.

그리고 구조라는 용어에 대해서 제가 잘 이해를 못해서 간단히 적어놓겠습니다.
조류의 구조는 대부분 calcite(방해석(CaCO3)으로 그 골격(skeleton)을 이루고 있습니다.
