각 용어에 대한 정의는 제가 문맥으로부터 미루어 짐작하던 바와 같습니다.
coal seam이란 석탄으로 이루어진 층 자체를 말하고
coal measure는 그러한 층을 켜켜이 하나 이상 포함한 (interstratified) 주
위 다른 지층을 포함한 암석층을 말하는 것이지요?

그런데 탄층과 협탄층은 서로 바뀐 것이 아닌지요?

그리고..가능하다면 참고할만한 서적이나 사전, 자료 등을 추천해주시면 더욱
