*Parabolinites sp.*

형 태 (Morphology)	두부연변이 거의 직선이며 중앙 부분은 다소 두꺼워 진다. 미간(眉間)의 길이는 크라니디움(cranidium) 길이의 약 2/3 정도를 차지하며 3쌍의 얕은 측미간주름이 발달해 있고 앞으로 가면서 약간 좁아진다. 후두부고리 주름은 깊고 전미간 길이는 두부 길이의 약 1/4을 차지한다. 안검엽은 작고 안융기는 뚜렷하며 8개 이상의 흉부 체절에는 모두 축환 돌기가 있다.

특 징 (Remarks)	우리 나라에서는 처음으로 산출된 Parabolinites이다. 이 종은 마차리층 중상부 (Pseudoyuepingia asaphoides대)의 흑색 셰일에서 산출된다. 긴 전미간 부분과 넓은 고정볼 그리고 앞쪽으로 비스듬하게 발달하는 안융기가 특징적이다. 중국 신장에서 보고된 Parabolinites xinjiangensis는 수평 방향의 안융기와 앞쪽으로 벌어지는 전부안선 그리고 약간 더 긴 전미간부분의 특징에 의해 이 종과 구분될 수 있다.
