형 태 (Morphology)두부와 미부의 크기가 같은 삼엽충으로 두부(cephalon)의 미간(眉間)은 길이에 비해 폭이 다소 넓다. 표면에 작은 소결체와 3쌍의 깊은 측미간주름이 발달해 있다. 후두부고리는 작은 돌기가 있으며 두부연변에는 길고 앞쪽으로 솟은 골침이 있고 4쌍의 미부 골침이 발달하고 있는 것이 가장 큰 특징이다.

특 징 (Remarks)이 종은 태백지역의 두무골층(전기 오르도비스기)과 영월지역의 문곡층 (두목층원의 Shumardia pellizzarii대)에서 산출된다. 두부연변의 중앙 앞쪽이 긴 골침으로 연장되고 두 번째 미부 골침이 가장 크다. Koraipsis taiziheensis가 이 종과 매우 유사하지만 두부연변 골침의 중앙에 주름이 있어서 구별된다. Koraipsis shansinensis는 더 짧은 미부골침에 의해 이 종과 구분된다.
