형 태 (Morphology)비교적 작은 크기의 삼엽충으로 3쌍의 얕은 측미간주름, 비교적 큰 반원형의 안검엽, 전면으로 많이 벌어지는 전부안선, 9개의 흉부체절이 있으며, 6∼7개의 축환, 한쌍의 긴 골침, 넓은 도뷸러를 갖고 있는 반원형의 미부가 특징적이다.

특 징 (Remarks)이 종은 마차리층 중상부 Pseudoyuepingia asaphoides대의 셰일에서 산출된다. 호주 남부 Tasmania에서 산출된 Proceratopyge gordonensis와 매우 유사하지만 더 짧은 전미간부분, 더 작은 안검엽, 더 넓은 유리볼 그리고 더 큰 미부를 갖고 있는 점이 다르다. 남중국의 Proceratopyge mirabilis는 Proceratopyge gamaesilensis보다 8개의 흉부체절과 더 좁은 미부축엽을 갖고 있어서 이 종과 구분된다.
