형 태 (Morphology)	두부(cephalon)의 크라니디움(cranidium)은 납작하고 한 쌍의 측미간엽(lateral glabellar lobe)이 미간(glabella) 뒤쪽에 발달한다. 전미간면부분(preglabellar field)은 비교적 넓고 들어가 있으며 위로 솟은 두부연변부(anterior border)로 연장된다. 안검엽(palpebral lobe)은 작고 전부안선(preocular suture)은 앞쪽으로 20%°∼40°벌어진다. 유리볼(free cheek)은 넓고 긴 유리볼침(genal spine)이 있다. 미부(pygidium)는 반원형 또는 반타원형이며 10개 이상의 축환(axial ring)이 있다.

특 징 (Remarks)	Asaphellus coreanicus는 두무골층의 하부 75m 구간에서만 산출된다. 이 종은 북중국의 옐리층에서 산출된 Asaphellus trinodosus와 매우 유사하au, Asaphellus tomkolensis와는 짧은 두부와 더 큰 각도로 벌어지는 전부안선을 갖고 있는 점에서 구분된다.
