형 태 (Morphology)미부(pygidium)는 사다리꼴에 가까우며 길이는 폭의 약 2/3 정도이다. 축엽은 길고 홀쭉하며 뒤쪽으로 가면서 약간 좁아진다. 9개의 축환과 작은 말단축환이 있으며 축엽 뒤쪽 끝이 좁은 미부연변까지 연장된다. 늑막엽은 다소 위로 부풀어 있으며 8쌍의 깊은 늑막주름과 매우 얕은 늑막간주름이 있다. 연변주름은 매우 얕고 좁으며 연변의 뒤쪽 중앙 부분은 움푹 들어가 있다. 도뷸러는 미부연변의 약 2배 정도의 폭을 갖는다.

특 징 (Remarks)이 종은 마차리층 최하부(Tonkinella breviceps대)의 백운암질 석회암에서 산출된다. 미부(pygidium)는 9개의 축환과 말단 축환으로 구성된 가늘고 긴 축엽, 좁은 미부연변의 안쪽 가장자리에서 끝나는 깊은 늑막주름 그리고 얕은 늑막간주름에 의해 특징지워진다. Ogygopsis sp.는 Newfoundland 지역 (Candada)에서 산출된 Ogygopsis klotzi의 미부와 매우 유사하다. Ogygopsis typicalis의 미부와 유사하지만, Ogygopsis typicalis는 더 얕은 축주름과 더 넓은 말단 축환을 갖고 있는 반면에 미부 연변 끝쪽 중앙이 약간 들어가지 않은 점이 특징이다.
